You might be big hearted and give extra offers. But if your customers are dumb, you will still fail.

 

Lesson: Marketing and offers should be based on the intellectual level of your target audience

 

So if you choose a marketing activity believing that you are extremely intelligent and creative without considering the intellectual level of the user, then you are not intelligent , but you are dumb to not understand and analyse the intellectual level of the users.

 

Always understand the :

  1. Need of the target audience.
  2. Intellectual level of the target audience.
  3. The competitor brands preferred by the target audience,

before sitting for a marketing/offer discussion and brainstorming.

Else, you will surely fail like A&W failed.
